WHAT WE DO
Counselors at Chief Kanim middle school provide an array of support services and guidance for students and their families. School counselors frequently serve as a communication link for students, parents, teachers and administrators on a variety of issues.

Individual Student Planning and Responsive Services
Help students with their academic, career and personal/social development
504 Caseload Managers
Work with administrators and classroom teachers to develop strategies for at risk students
Crisis Counseling
Small Group Intervention and Counseling
Student Mediations
Referrals to School and/or Community Resources School Guidance Curriculum
